July output 20,000kWh – only 50% of last years generation.
However - lowest ever was July 2018 with only 3,000 kWh. Please also note - Four schools in the area have had solar panels fitted, paid for by the Whalley Hydro Community Benefit Fund. Together they produced 5,570kWh of power during last month.

Another dry April with low generation.
This is the third dry April in a row with less than 9,000 kW generated. April 2016 saw over 42,000kW!

Solar PV systems output
WCHL have installed Solar pv systems on 4 Primary Schools in the area as part of their Community Benefit work - to date they have generated over 48,000 kilowatt hours of power and saved over 48,000 kg of Co2 equivalent to planting more than 130 trees!

2020 AGM to be held online due to Covid 19 restrictions.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions our AGM which is to be held on 22nd October will now consist of the Board only, meeting online. Members will be able to submit questions prior to the event.

Hydro flooded 9th February
Due to Storm Ciara the generator building was flooded on the 9th Feb - however - due to work following the previous flood in 2015 no damage was caused and we were able to restart production on the next day.
